Yogurt Anyone?

Sammy likes yogurt. I mean he really likes it. Well, he likes ice cream too, but that's another story. Here he is this morning while the girls were eating breakfast.



Normally he is outside this time of morning. He's usually already running around the yard taking care of business, checking on all this stuff, and "talking" to the neighbor's dogs. But this morning Abby, the little yappy dog, wanted to go outside. I wasn't dressed to take her out front, so Sammy came in while she went in the backyard. They don't go out together because Sammy mistakes Abby's running from him for playing and tries to chase her. That doesn't go over well. Inside, they are fine together, but outside...well...not so good.

Anyway, Sammy came in. Notice how tall he is. If he stretches his neck, he can put his chin on the table. Or put his nose in your face. But here is waiting fairly patiently for his Key Lime Pie yogurt.


Finally, his patience paid off. He got to lick the yogurt cup. He had a large time of it. He didn't leave a drop. Not a bit. He enjoyed it completely. He was a very happy puppy.


This one is just because I thought he was so cute. He's waiting for Abby to come back in. It drives him nuts for her to be in "his" yard. He doesn't understand that it's been her yard for 12 years. He thinks it's his. He apparently worries that she is going to mess up his "stuff". You know, he has sticks and bones and balls and all sorts of paraphanalia scattered all around. Or maybe he just wants to go see where she "went". But as soon as she comes back in, he races outside to check everything out. He's a funny little (big) guy.
